all day! 🙂 picking that good Budo Sansho

  Today I got to meet our guests from Mexico city.  They spent the day in Koyasan and after they came to Shimizu for a nice relaxing stay.  First we stopped by Shimizu Onsen.  After we had dinner  in a traditional Japanese house all sitting around the irori (traditional Japanese sunken hearth) sipping on Wakayama sake and enjoing great local cuisine.

Beautiful day in  Shimizu

I am chilling at Third Cafe having some banana mango Yonanas and plum jam soda!! My first time making jam and it came out pretty good!

Today was the Mita Zaogongen mochimaki.  We were lucky to have great weather today and lots of people showed up for the event.  If you have the chance come to one of the many mochi maki festivals around Shimizu. Its a fun and exciting Wakayama tradition.
